The Change Proposal process has been designed to provide a simple mechanism for IPS stakeholders to propose changes to
one or more of the IPS standards artefacts that make up the IPS “suite of standards”. The form is publicly-available and can be
used by any stakeholder (or potential stakeholder.)
Proposers are encouraged to avoid submitting duplicate requests directly to individual standards development organizations,
in addition to those submitted through this process.
A “change proposal” can include improvements and fixes to existing IPS standards, enhancements to the scope of the
standards, or for the addition of new standards to enable the implementation and use of the IPS.
Proposed IPS changes will be coordinated through the JIC IPS Coordination Committee (IPSCC), a committee representing participating IPS standards organizations.
