The International Patient Summary key health data, worldwide

IHE Announces an IPS Theme for the 2025 North America Connectathon

If you are an innovator, vendor or user, understanding the International Patient Summary (IPS) is key to keeping up with the ever-evolving interoperability landscape. To learn the latest on the role of the IPS in driving healthcare innovation and supporting seamless cross-border care, attend the 2025 IHE North America Connectathon Week February 3-7 in Toronto, Canada, where the IPS will be a cross-cutting theme throughout the week.

As well, a special IPS Focus Package has been developed for those specifically interested in following the IPS theme through the week’s events, with dedicated IPS content and an opportunity for all participants to learn, test, and innovate. The package provides an overview of IPS profiles and their role in the Connectathon and the steps to test IPS profiles and earn the IPS IHE SEAL, a globally recognized mark of excellence. Participating in this focus gets you two days of testing at the IHE North America Connectathon Floor and the IPS IHE SEAL for the IPS profile, taking part in the IPS PLUGATHON TRACK.

More information on the package is available as part of an upcoming webinar hosted by Michael Nusbaum (IHE International Board), Daniel Berezeanu (IHE Catalyst) and John D’Amore (More Informatics), which will be held on December 3, 2024, at 09:00 PST / 12:00 EST.
