IPS Change Proposal: Process & Timelines

The JIC IPSCC is committed to full transparency, ensuring that submitters of proposals to IPSCC are kept informed of where the request is in the process, next steps and outcomes. At a minimum, the following will be provided:

  1. Proposal submission acknowledgement:
    • An automatically generated receipt from the system
    • An acknowledgement from the secretariat of receipt, indication of next steps and next communication point (within 2 working days)
  2. Requests to submitter for further information/points for clarification, as part of triage by the IPSCC Process team (within 2 weeks of receipt of the proposal)
  3. Follow-up emails as necessary, based on progress of next steps per 1. second bullet above
  4. An invitation to the submitter to attend the meeting when their proposal is being reviewed by IPSCC members, where beneficial/relevant (1 week notice of the invitation to attend unless otherwise agreed)
  5. The submitter will be informed of the outcome of the review by the IPSCC, together with next steps (within 5 working days of IPSCC meeting and after the follow-up Process Team call).
