We need your feedback and input to help us guide the future of the InternationalPatientSummary (IPS)!
If you haven’t seen it yet, we encourage you to explore a recent discussion paper developed by the Joint Initiative Council for Global Health Informatics Standardization, the umbrella collaboration of standards development organizations that currently manage the IPS. The paper (The Future of the IPS as a Global Public Good) calls for the development of a formal mechanism to steer the future of the IPS, and a more decentralized approach to nurturing, managing and promoting it.

- Share your insights and feedback
In addition to formally submitted written comments, the JIC also plans to convene subsequent virtual and/or in person sessions to discuss the future global stewardship of the IPS. Please watch out for announcements on either JIC or IPS LinkedIn Pages.
